Upper Blepharoplasty
This patient in her 50s was concerned with heaviness of the upper eyelids that had gradually developed over time. She noticed excess skin folding over the lash line, which contributed to a tired appearance and, in some situations, made eye makeup application more difficult. Her goal was to achieve a more open, refreshed, and naturally alert appearance while maintaining her individual facial character.
An upper blepharoplasty was performed to remove excess upper eyelid skin and improve eyelid contour. By carefully refining the eyelid crease and reducing heaviness, the procedure helped create a brighter, more rested eye appearance without altering the natural shape of her eyes.
Common concerns addressed:
• Heavy or hooded upper eyelids
• Excess upper eyelid skin
• Tired or fatigued appearance
• Skin folding over the lash line
• Loss of upper eyelid definition
• Difficulty with makeup application
• Early to moderate eyelid aging
• Softening of the eye area
• Desire for a more open, refreshed look
• Natural looking eyelid rejuvenation
